What type of TV drama do you watch?
I’m a big fan of crime dramas—I can’t help but try to figure out the ending before the detectives do, and most of the time I’m right! I also love romance series that dive into the drama of real life but still deliver those satisfying happily-ever-after endings. They combine the tension I enjoy with the hope and love I believe in.
Share something you are watching now or watched recently which you loved?
I don’t have much time for television, but one show I truly love is Call the Midwife. My mother-in-law introduced me to it, and after she passed away, watching it has always made me feel closer to her. It’s not just the beautiful storytelling that draws me in, but the connection it holds to someone I loved dearly.

Healing the Veteran is a story very close to my heart. Years ago, I worked with veterans at the VA hospital in Miami, and their courage and struggles stayed with me. This book grew out of that experience. It follows a wounded veteran who believes his past scars make him unworthy of love, a woman with her own emotional scars after struggling with Guillain-Barré syndrome, and a dog with a troubled history of his own. Each of them carries pain, but together they discover faith, second chances, and the healing power of love. It’s a story where my heart is poured into every page, and one that reminds me—and I hope my readers—that no matter how broken we feel, there is always hope and always a path to a Happily Ever After.
