What inspires me to write is the desire to tell stories that uplift and encourage my readers to believe in the power of love and personal growth. It is personal growth that is at the heart of romance fiction- heroes and heroines both have to change in some way in order to claim the prize of a happy ever after.
What is your favourite genre and why?
At the moment it is biography and memoir. I find people’s live endlessly fascinating. They are so many story ideas in the average person’s life.
Share a bit about your writing process.
I like to write about 2000 words a day, five days a week. I prefer working in the morning but I’ve recently gone back to swimming, so three mornings a week I get a little time poor! But I remind myself that the time in the pool is thinking time. It’s also a good antidote for sitting for long periods.

My 90th book- The Billion-Dollar Bride Hunt is a story about a professional matchmaker who has never sought true love for herself- not until she meets a particularly demanding client, that is! When Emmie is drawing closer to Matteo Vitale in order to find the perfect match for him, she is drawn to his enigmatic personality but realises she can never meet his exacting standards herself, even though she dearly would love to.
