1. What are a few things we would find in or on your desk?

 

I’m traveling while I write this, visiting my sister so my desk is a table that belonged to our grandmother. It’s a bright yellow oval made of chrome. I brought her some paperback copies of the Raven’s Cove trilogy so those are stacked here along with her husband’s wallet and a bag from the local coffee roaster. Whenever I visit, I try to take home a couple sacks of this Ethiopian coffee. It’s sooo good.

 

 

2. What motivates you to write?

 

Deadlines. I also love to visit imaginary places whether it’s a Greek island or New York or Raven’s Cove. It gives me a chance to pretend I’m there.

 

3. Share something about yourself no one else knows?

 

Gosh, I don’t know? I’m pretty open, but also feel I’m kind of boring because I don’t do much but write. While I’m here with my sister, we’re going to talk more about a visit to Iceland. We’re hoping to go with our husbands – our grandmother was from Iceland so it’s something we’ve always wanted to do.

 

4. Tell us about your book...

 

Wanting a Family Man is book three in Raven’s Cove so I feel a little like I’ve been talking about these books forever. I love this one so much, though. I love that Trystan is a celebrity, but one of those down to earth kind who doesn’t’ really enjoy his fame. Cloe has a celebrity crush on him so it’s surreal for her to spend time with him. They both know the other is off-limits, yet they can’t keep their hands off each other. And I think you’ll love the virtual whale-watching trip!
